SICK DOG

So today whilst cycling my headphones stopped working and I got to discover what my exhales sound like… you guested it, a sick dog.

My breathing pattern for this morning was two second inhale and an eight second slow exhale followed by a diaphram upper tuck (where the diaphram is sucked up in the the lungs like a cave), for another five seconds.

When the headphones cut out I was exhaling on the five second to the eight second mark and I could hear this strong murmur exhale with meditation overtones to it.

It was both beautiful and sickly to hear but!!! so powerful to do.

As to why I do this breath work of 2 in, 8 out and 5 hold… well…. it goes like this: I over breathe, that is the whole issue behind my contractions, I over breathe because of daily life stress, wrong food groups eaten, sudden burst of exercise (running for something urgent) and during sleep (being horizontal). So because of that I minimise the inhale (little oxygen intake), breathe out 8 seconds to retain carbon dioxide to offset the high amount of oxygen already in my blood cells/ body and hold for five seconds for a further expulsion of oxygen in that I would normally be breath taking at that time/minimise compounding breathing for the hour.

Okay enough for today...

Bye!
