TRUE MEASURE

So my true measure of health bronchialy speaking is by the famous Vladimir  Bueteyko method of a breath hold. Which is measure by how long you can ‘comfortably’ hold your breath AFTER exhaling all your available oxygen in your lungs. It goes something like this…

Inhale for one second, with a quick short & punchy exhale then pinch your nose to not allow any air leak and count the seconds by saying ‘elephant ONE’, ‘elephant TWO’, etc (or stop watch device).

It has been said that a breath hold for ten seconds means you are leaning to the ill side and may be in need of medical care, twenty seconds represents you have limited bronchial flexibility, thirty seconds is the average for regular people and breath work athletes are at over a minute.

Today I did a one minute breath hold with ease, and it was such an accommplishment  I made each family member give me a high-five hand in the air congratz waive.

Curious? Try it (Have someone with you to assist if needing).

Adrian.
